Walk
Lots of swans and ducks about but a great 3 mile circular walk. There is a part of the dam on the left handside which has a lot of algae in the water so I wouldn't recommend letting your dog swim there.

The nebit can either be reached from Alva Glen or you can walk from the house through Wood Hill Wood from the house. Once in Silver Glen this is an 1.20 minute walk (probably 2.5 hours from the house)
This can be reached by crossing the road slightly to the left of the front of house. There is a path, follow it to the right, across the bridge keep left at the fork and follow it until you reach a sign directingyou to the foothills. Follow the directions then continue up the path past the golf course to reach Wood Hill Wood. You will past an old silver mine on this route too.
There are often lots of sheep so please be respectful and keep dogs on leadsaround livestock.

Ben Cleuch circular
Ben Cleuch is the highest of the Ochils and one of the most popular hillwalks in Central Scotland. There are many possible routes of ascent; the circuit described ascends via the popular path up The Law before descending over Ben Ever and then steeply back down into the dramatic Mill Glen.

Short Walk-follow path from car park continue straight up path not to castle Campbell. Go through gate to circular route, continue on path to the left. When you reach a fork in the road take the middle path and follow until you reach the reservoir. It is possible to walk all the way around, although there is no defined path on one side and you might get slightly wet feet when crossing the weir.

For a longer walk- about 2.5 hours, approx 8 kilometres. Walk up to Castle Campbell, then take the right-hand path, keeping Hillfoot Hill to your right - you ascend with lovely views of Kincardine and as far as Shotts behind you - through Glen Quey, past the reservoir and descend into Glendevon.

The Devon Way
The Devon WayGreat walk just a few minutes walk along the road. this walk can be 1 hour 45 minutes if you follow it in a large loop. It can also be done in shorter loops. There has been forestry work going on at points aroundthe loop. Occasionally sheep near the river and there can be deer in the forest.
